Born: 21st may 1962
Growing up in a small Swiss village near Zurich in neighbourhood of donkies, ponies and horses.Catching horse-virus very soon. Starting to ride on ponies with 6 years and to have regular lessons with horses at the age of 12 years.
Until age of 17 years also having a horse to ride three times a week.
1969 – 78 Primary and secondary school
1978 – 81 Apprenticeship as a secretary
1983 1 year travelling in New Zealand, working 1/2 year at a stable with pace-race- horses. Helping in training with sulky incl. fast race-training. Teaching all the horses to also be riding horses (as good as I could at that time)
1984 Groom and training rider of thoroughbreds at the stable of a famous and one of the most experienced (old) racehorse trainer (F. Rindlisbacher)
1985 + 86 Work in a «adventure-therapy-project» for Projuventute Switzerland in Italy for teenagers till 20 years that failed already several therapies living without drugs (heroin). Incl. organisation and realisation of a 4 week-«caravane» on horse- back from Umbria to Toscana. 2 moth preparation in Apulia and Umbria. Later staying in an old Italian farmhouse with finally 14 clients, 6 therapeuts, 10 horses, 1 cow with calf and more, near Siena.
1986 3 month holiday in Spain (to recover), buying my first Lusitano «Bocasio» and starting to discover the books of Nuno Oliveira and a different way of riding.
1986 – 1989 Runnig an own stable in parttime (together with riding instructor Heinz Baumgartner) with 10 horses, mainly Lusitanos (our 2 own horses, 1 horse for lessons, lusitanos for sale and client horses). Several trips to Portugal.
1989 - 91 2 1/2 years stage in Portugal at the «Morgado Lusitano Riding center», Póvoa de Stà Iria with 50 horses. Regulary having lessons with Master João Trigueiros de Aragão (known as one of the best students of Nuno Oliveira), Francisco Carvalho de Bessa (Quico) and Nuno Palma Santos (all riders of the Portugues Riding School). Riding up to 8 horses a day. Also helping in ad- ministration of the riding center and partly running the whole thing.
1991 Since September back in Switzerland. Since then and until presence riding cli- ent-horses and teaching pupils and horses in what I have learnt and under- stood. Having riding lessons once a week with Martin Bieli, who was 10 years learning with the great Circus man Fredy Knie senior
1992 -98 Organisation (and participation) of 13 clinics with João Trigueiros de Aragão in Switzerland.
2000 First clinic with Philippe Karl at «Mascot Arabian riding center». Being blown away by the effect of the high hand and also feeling very happy to have found again a teacher just in the way I was learning with João Trigueiros de Aragão and Quico ... and exactly of what I have been seeking for.
2001 Organisation (and participation) of 3 open clinics with Ph. Karl; in November the first open clinic with Bea Borelle (only organisation)

Karl with 3 clinics per year (4 days each) incl. organisation of 3 ordinary clinics with Ph. Karl and 6 open clinics with Bea Borelle (only organisation)
2004 - 2007 Stable manager and riding instructor of «Stall Ryterhuus» at Auslikon with 16 client horses (www.ryterhuus.ch).
2005 Organisation of and participation in 3 EdL-riding-teacher-courses with Ph. Karl and organisation of 6 open clinics with Bea Borelle
